Flying Samaritans is
a volunteer
organization which operates free medical clinics
in Baja California, Mexico. Doctors, dentists,
nurses, translators, pilots and support
personnel fly to clinics in private aircraft.
Through a cooperative agreement with the
University of Baja California, our teams are
sanctioned as Invited Teachers.
The Arizona Chapter, based in Tucson,
operates two clinics. One is in the village of
El Rosario, which lies about 150 miles south of
Ensenada, with monthly clinics from September
through June. The other is in Laguna San
Ignacio and together with the Los Amigos
Chapter, we hold Quarterly clinics near the
nursing grounds of the Gray Whale.
